How might we build practical tools for diversity and inclusion to be used in everyday work? By prototyping practical tools through a human-centered process, we want to help break the norms that restrict people, ideas and organisations to grow and innovate!
Tools for inclusion & diversity
How can we increase diversity and inclusion at the workplace and be reminded of the 7 protected grounds of discrimination identified by Swedish law in our everyday lives.
Many organizations have policies in place for equal treatment and anti-discrimination, but how present are they in our daily work? We believe many oranizations could benefit from a tool to remind us on actively working with inclusion and diversity.
By ideating and prototyping practical tools through a human-centered process, we want to help break the norms that restrict people, ideas and organizations to grow and innovate!
Desired outcome
We imagine a tool easy to integrate in meetings, workshops and the daily practice of collaborative work. We encourage you to reflect on the needs or experiences from your work, interact with the ideas/prototypes of others and to add your own.
Open Innovation Lab
This challenge is connected to the event Open Innovation Lab for inclusion and diversity, a design thinking session/workshop facilitated by Openlab in order to create prototypes that can be tested and developed further. Prototypes from the session are published here.
The activity is arranged as part of the project Frontrunners for sustainable Innovation (ERUF), Vinnova's and SKL's Innovation Week and the GLOBAL WEEK TO #ACT4SDGS.
