The National Agency for Education has, on behalf of the Government, produced a proposal on how programming should come into school education. Programming is then not meant to be a separate subject, but instead should be written specifically in math and technology as part of the syllabuses. By making programming part of other subjects in the school, there is the direct connection to the use, says the National Agency for Education.

For teachers, this means an opportunity and challenge to understand how it should happen and implement it. It will require training and deepening for teachers, but also a host of creative ideas. Other subject areas in the school can also benefit from programming, but it will be more voluntary for the teachers to get in and according to the National Agency for Education, digitalisation will get even more focus there.

Give ideas for how teachers can get programming into the various topics!
