Rainwater / stormwater collection

That we flush our toilets with drinking water is a big waste. There are flexible systems for recovering rainwater for flushing of washing machines and toilet water. This would also make it easier for the sewage treatment plants, etc. It should therefore be encouraged more, perhaps with some form of grant or tax relief. For new construction this today is not even intended in the planning. Water shortage is becoming more apparent every year and is expected to increase in step with global warming. Above all, this should be applied for sprinkler systems for public lawns etc so that primarily rainwater and not drinking water are used.

Regnvatten/dagvatten uppsamling

Att vi spolar våra toaletter med dricksvatten är ett stort slöseri. Det finns smidiga system för att återvinna regnvattnet till spolning av tvättmaskiner och toalettvatten. Detta skulle också underlätta för reningsverken mm och det borde därför uppmuntras mer, kanske med någon form av bidrag eller skattelättnad. För nybyggnation är detta idag inte ens påtänkt i planeringen. Vattenbrist blir mer påtagligt varje år och lär öka i takt med globala uppvärmningen. Framförallt borde detta appliceras för sprinklersystem för offentliga gräsmattor etc så man i första hand använder regnvatten och inte dricksvatten.
