How can primary care make patients more involved and activated in health and recovery from illness?

The care of the future will require new and creative solutions to be able to guarantee all patients what previous generations have been able to enjoy from diagnosis, enrollment, surgery and rehabilitation. One group that has not previously been particularly active in the care process is the patients themselves. Can we make them co-actors and not just recipients? What could motivate them to do this?

How can primary care make patients more involved and activated in health and recovery during illness?

Future care will require new and creative solutions to be able to guarantee all patients what earlier generations could enjoy from diagnosis, enrollment, surgery and rehabilitation. A group that has not previously been particularly active in the care process is the patients themselves. Can we turn them into co-actors and not just recipients? What could motivate them to do so?
