There is a national strategy in Sweden for social entrepreneurship, a sustainable society through social entrepreneurship and social innovation. The aim of the strategy is to contribute to realizing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development by strengthening social entrepreneurship in Sweden.

Social entrepreneurship can mean many things and can be found as well in the public and private sector. They can be organized as limited companies, foundations, non governmental organizations, economic associations or sole proprietorship. What they all have in common is that their business idea aims to address societal challenges and thereby have a social impact.

The goal of the project is to increase the knowledge regarding how to connect social entrepreneurs with the public sector.
