What possible innovations can a changed climate generate for the real estate and construction sector, with regard to: heat, torrential rain and floods?

That climate change is a fact and means new trials for our society. More precipitation, increased temperature and increased risk of flooding are what awaits. How much society will be affected depends on how much the climate changes, but also on how prepared we are to meet the challenge of a changing climate. It is now that we have the opportunity to develop the solutions of the future for society's challenges and be the first to launch them. Does a climate change need only have negative consequences? Can a changed climate be seen as an engine for innovations, technological development and new collaboration processes?

Can a changed climate be seen as an engine for innovations, technology development and new collaboration processes?

Sustainable architecture

Involvement of the architect in the entire construction process, so that the building design will get a longer life, less maintenance and need less energy use (cold, heat, electricity). They must think rugged buildings that can withstand heat waves (i.e. not overheated housing), köldknäppar (i.e. good buildings with low power consumption that resists downpours with elaborate storm water management.

Solar energy

The basic idea is to use solar energy more extensively in the creation of buildings. There should be a requirement to use solar energy, among other things, through solar facades, solar collectors. Energy can also be stored.

What is solar energy used for: Cooling
Windows with thin-film (solar cells)
solar parking
water heating the water used in the home
battery warehouse
electric vehicles

Incentives in innovationskonkretiseringen by the use of solar energy: contests, grants, etc.

Innovation (solar energy) in combination with architectural aesthetics.

The challenge in the option: change the rules because of tax and badly paid,
Regulations on energy production in the Sun.

Organic Buildings

Architecture based on nature, breathable airways/passageways, they should be like organisms. Encouraged to be built by best environmental practices.
