Almedalen of the future - can digitalisation make the meeting place more accessible?
Rarely are Swedish authorities, formal and informal, as accessible as during Almedalen Week. Almedalen must be open and inclusive - but not everyone has the same opportunities to participate - neither as participants nor organizers. The competition for attention means that even those who can buy space have difficulty accessing their target groups, the prices of accommodation and meeting rooms are an obstacle for financially weaker actors and the content of discussions and meetings is not always available outside the circle of the physically present. Visby with its cobblestones and cultural buildings is also difficult to access for people with reduced mobility.

Can digital channels facilitate remote participation? Can the sharing economy reduce costs and increase the use of premises and other resources? Can algorithms improve matchmaking so that the right people find each other? Is there a digital forum that is really open all year round?
Contribute to the dialogue for a more open, more accessible Almedalen!
What happens next?
The ideas posted during the challenge are presented at a first workshop in Almedalen, July 3, at 16.00-17.30 at HejDigitalt. See: Future Almedalen - can digitization make the meeting place more accessible? - Almedalsveckan
To keep the discussion on accessibility alive even after Almedal Week, Openlab organizes a workshop based on this challenge, within the framework of OpenInn meetups.

All politicians should stream out live everything they say.
All active should have an app that streams out everything they say to a Web service.
There is then stored audio files and are assembled using gps and audio analysis system so that all can then go in and take part in the discussions. There will be monitors in place where people can speak or write in posts and topics that are written up on the screens so that politicians can take advantage of the public's questions and get in touch with people's votes.
Distribute the guide to all organizers
A good start would be to ensure that all operators taking part of the guidelines for accessible meetings available. E.g. URhttp://www.mfd.se/globalassets/dokument/publikationer/2015/2015-5-checklista-tillgangliga-moten-och-konferenser.pdf

Reality camera mobile
Development of a mobile phone with two cameras at each end of the phone. People can then put the camera on themselves or have the drones who follow you where you're going. Is it friend or interested you can take on the VR goggles and be your phone. Bamber can stream out camera and audio and give the public access to the cell phone and be with. With VR goggles are in place as a mobile phone.
Planning for follow-up
All meetings in Almedalen should end with a plan for what we do next and how we take the ideas further after the meeting.

Prepare and plan to make available ideas
Make sure you have a proper plan for Almedalsnärvaron both before, during and after the actual translated soon. Open to dialogue even before your digital platforms. Ask your readers/members/customers what they want you to bring to power in place so the questions can also be included in more informal contexts, so they also can participate in the conversation on more informal mingling. Account transparent and open answers to questions.

Teckentolka live at a distance
Send events live on location in Palestine, but let someone teckentolka them at a distance and embed in the broadcast, if it is difficult to get hold of the prompt on the site.
