How do we make the Airplane Park better? Influence the renovation of Gröna stugan's playground (Airplane Park) in Bredäng, to better meet local needs.
What do you think is needed in a really good park?
The green cottage playground / the aircraft park in Bredäng is to be renovated, and Skärholmens district administration wants your ideas.
What does Bredäng need? What do you need? Is it a skate park where the youth can meet, a breeding ground for those with green fingers, an educational playground for the youngest, or something completely different?
Share your ideas and opinions on how the park should change and get more people to thrive and stay more in the park.
During 2017-2018, Skärholmens district administration will renovate Gröna Stugan's playground / Aircraft Park in Bredäng. In order to best respond to the needs of citizens, a so-called citizens' budget is used, where proposals and ideas from the citizens are collected. Dialogues and workshops are held in order for more people to have the opportunity to influence their area.

Attend workshops:
The district administration also collects ideas and opinions on the renovation of the Green Cottage playground through three workshops during October. Participate to get inspiration, make ideas and discuss the area's needs with others who live and stay in Bredäng, and with the landscape architects in place.
The workshop is held at Bredäng's library (Bredängstorget 20) and it costs nothing to participate.
You can find the ideas from the workshop here, so you can think of it even if you could not attend a workshop.

Testing is also held eg. at Bredängs bibliotek (Bredängstorget 20) and it costs nothing to participate.

The district administration presents the final model of the new park based on local needs and based on your ideas and opinions.
The results will be presented here under "Results" no later than January 26th. Here you can take part of the results digitally and get an idea of how the park should look.
The final model of the new park will also be presented by the district administration at Bredängs bibliotek (Bredängstorget 20) in the afternoon on the 26th of January. Come and pass by and meet the architects and officials behind the project!

We want a football field with actual lines and football goals. It is also important with a high fence to prevent the ball going out.
Right now is the football field apart sometimes.

Need cozy, inspiring environments that are aesthetically pleasing and organic. For the importance of the environment, using eco-friendly materials and CRE-an organic park with natural materials as a clear eco-conscious holistic approach. It would also see cykelanpassande roads to the Park.

Bet on vegetation and greenery!
The bushes and hedges that others think is unnecessary, I like actually. One can pick their carrier, something that many do not know. It's our fun with a people's garden or more vegetation at all. More flowers, fruit trees, berry bushes.

For each convicted tree-planted two new. It has removed some trees (especially at school-Trail/White Zhen road), and after several years of not planting new ones.
On/over several nights, the different thread to Park aircraft and "Park" their cars in the Park, so they run on the walkway to arrive.
The Park is pretty djurrik-foxes, hares, birds and sometimes it comes a few deer, so preserving the ability of animals and perhaps put up nest boxes.

I think it would be fun if it were a park for everyone, one of the smallest and also the largest. That kind of trampolines which is at ground level is usually both the small and the big think is fun. Climbing frame that has both a part of smaller and some larger. Any skateboard like is fun for the larger. Sandpit and swings for the smaller. I hope it be pure park for everyone really. today is the awful boring but still always very crowded. The football field must be left, d a is really popular.

The park was inaugurated on August 25, 2018
In the autumn of 2016, Skärholmen's district committee implemented for the first time a citizens' budget for the refurbishment of Flygplansparken / Gröna stugan. The residents of Bredäng were involved in deciding how the park would be refurbished. More than 200 comments and suggestions were received and used as a basis for developing a new park. One and a half years after the start of construction, the park is finally finished and ready to be inaugurated.

The park is being rebuilt according to your suggestions
The park is being rebuilt and a new theme for the playground is being developed. The most popular theme of the dialogue was "Up in the air". The playground will have a large climbing frame with playhouses, trampolines, swing stands, carousels and other surprises. The aircraft is being renovated elsewhere and is back in spring 2018.
Barbecue area and long tables, deck chairs and plenty of flowers are also news in the park.
Some trees are taken down. Some are in poor condition and replaced by new flowering varieties. The lawns are being renovated from September 2017 and can be used again in June 2018.

The project is part of the city's initiative Greener Stockholm
Greener Stockholm promotes the development of the city's green values, such as parks and nature areas. As the city grows and develops, not only more homes, workplaces, schools and other community services are needed, but also green areas, parks and recreational areas. New green values need to be created and existing parks and green areas need to be maintained and developed.
Results from the challenge
Green Cabin Park, or the Aircraft Park as it is also called, should be refurbished. The park should be a place for all ages and contain both challenging and fun play and activity as well as meeting places, greenery and tranquility. The climbing sculpture in the form of an airplane is being renovated and forms the basis for the theme of the upgrading of the entire park: up in the air!
The park as a whole gets a lift with new entrances and a new central walkway. Sight lines are improved through hedges and walls are removed inside the park. The lawn is renovated and more clearly connected to the playground to enable picnics, bowls and running. New trees and flowers are planted and the park gets several new seating in the form of park sofas, sunbeds, hammocks and round tree benches. New better lighting and a central gathering place, new "Green cottage" with weather protection, countertop and barbecue are also proposed.
The playground is being developed and a number of new play equipment is being added. The "climbing forest" a large climbing game in wood with, among other things, bunks, view towers and slides will be the biggest addition. Trampolines, seesaw, bicycle carousel, more swings, large sandbox, and playhouse with toddler slide become other news in the park, as well as a water play and a space capsule carousel!
Lektorget
A large climbing game in wood, "Klätterskogen" with playhouse, lookout tower, slide, voltsrail, climbing net and bridge is placed centrally in the park. On this "playground" with floors of green and yellow rubber asphalt are also trampolines, seesaw, as well as jump stumps and balance path. Other news in the middle of the playground will be a space capsule carousel as well as new and existing swings that will be given a new location. There is really a chance to climb, bounce, spin and swing high in the air!
aircraft part
Here, play is suggested for the slightly younger children. A bicycle carousel, rocking swings in the form of birds, a playhouse with a small slide and a huge sandbox with a back table are placed around the beautiful mountain slope. The elephant sculpture is moved here, new seating is added and new flowering trees are planted against the path of the Green Cottage. A water play in the form of shower fountains is also suggested.
Green Cottage
A new gathering place with weather protection is also proposed in the park. Long tables, furniture for hanging, barbecue, new trees are suggested in this section.
Calm the corner
The corner closest to the White Lily path becomes lush and quiet, with new flowering shrubs and trees, hammocks and birdhouses.
Up in the air
The aircraft that is in the park today, has been in the park ever since 1965 and gave the park its nickname "Aircraft Park". This climbing sculpture is being renovated and forms the basis for the theme of the upgrading of the entire park: up in the air!
Within the theme, there will be new wooden birds to swing on, a rocket you can climb on, a rainbow and a spinning "space capsule".
