This challenge is inspired by the third section of Openlabs podcast MATLABORATORY - about food, science and society. Section three deals with how we stay healthy longer and experts in different areas share their perspectives and insights.

We live longer and longer. Not since the 1960s, longevity has increased as fast as today. Some even claim that those who are born today could live for 250 years.
While we are getting older, many people suffer from diseases such as cancer, alzheimer's and cardiovascular diseases, when they get higher up in the ages. Therefore, the fact that we get older means that we can be sick longer, if we do not find ways to also, at the same time, keep us healthy and healthy even when we are old.
In demography and public health, apart from the average life expectancy or life expectancy at birth, one speaks of the expected number of healthy years at birth (healty life years expectancy at birth). If our longevity increases, without increasing the number of healthy years, this not only means personal suffering but also high social costs for the elderly and the elderly.
Different diets and theories about what we eat and how we move for healthier lives further up in the ages have become increasingly talked about in recent years. Concepts such as nudging have also emerged, that is, to encourage or "control" people's behavior by simplifying things, for example. healthy choices.
So how do we proceed to extend the time we are healthy, even when we are old, by how we eat, live and move us?
